Having written and co-produced the majority of the tracks, Reality captures the essence of who Lisa McClendon truly is -- as an artist and as an individual. In her desire to reach others, McClendon penned songs that provide therapeutic and heart-felt melodies that speak to the everyday struggles and triumphs of life.
Already dubbed as McClendon’s best work to date, Lisa is moving forward both with momentum and vision. For this album, she has teamed up with Grammy nominated, super producer Herb “Big Herb” Middleton (Mary J. Blige, Usher, SWV) to help bring that vision to pass.
“This time around I can really do what I believe I am gifted to do,” says Lisa. “People don’t want to deal with reality, but it’s time to be real.”
